My beautiful Grandma would have been 99 years old today. She went to be with the Lord in September and we will celebrate her life this weekend at her church of over 50 years.

My grandma was one of my best friends. It didn’t matter that she was 67 years older than me. She was gentle and kind and would have given anything she had to anyone she met. She welcomed people with open arms and loved without holding back. She was steadfast. She was so very funny. She was beautiful. She was so many things that I’ll never be able to put into words.

I’m so thankful we got to share this earth for so long, but I’m even more thankful we’ll share eternity together because of Jesus.
