Apparently 4th of July is the holiday where I get super nostalgic and take a picture with my people each year. So here’s a permanent rectangle for 2025 and a few facts to remember:

— Grady is absolutely obsessed with with baseball, specifically the Braves, more specifically Ronald Acuña Jr. (notice the glove). He watches every game (sometimes twice), knows every player and their stats, and I’m convinced he could hold his own in a conversation with two knowledgeable adults about Major League Baseball.

— Brighten is that perfect blend of little girl and big girl. She wanted her alone time to watch her show, but also wanted Honey to read to her.

— Earlier in the day, we had the most fun swimming and jumping from the platform at the FWB Yacht Club. This is the place where I grew up swimming with my sisters and cousins. It’s also the place my mom grew up swimming with her friends. It’s a special place and I’m glad we got to make Morales family memories there with all three generations present.

— There’s nothing more 4th of July than salty air and watching fireworks in a community with so many military and retired military families. The fireworks in Niceville last night were spectacular.

— Coming home to Florida is always special and never long enough. Both kids cried when we left and begged to know when we’d be back.

So thankful for my hometown and getting to visit with this little family of mine! 🤍☀️
