That’s right, we are now a family of six — two parents, two kids, and two doggies.
The story goes something like this…Jason’s mom lives near Disney, so on Tuesday we went to have dinner with her. We had to stop by her best friend’s house to pick something up and her best friend had three 8-week old mini goldendoodle puppies (2 boys and 1 girl). I flipped out, and begged to go inside and see them. I picked up the sweetest little girl and she began licking my face with the most precious puppy kisses. I was DONE. So, we went back to our hotel that night and slept on the idea of getting another dog. Of course we decided YES, so here we are with our newest little nugget.
This may be the best day of Brighten’s life. She’s such an animal lover and is currently holding her in the backseat of the car. Pray for us on the 10 hour drive home with a tiny puppy 🐶 and for Swanson, who was not expecting to have a new sister when we pick him up from the doggy hotel!
Jason and I like to name our dogs after our favorite TV shows, so we have our Ron “Swanson” and our “Rory” Gilmore.
