In my family, I'm known as "Gadget Girl". Even before Jason (aka Mr. Apple Guy) and I started dating and got married, I always had the newest technology, and a gadget for everything. At the end of the day, that's what I've always chosen to save up my money and splurge on. Because of that, I thought I'd start doing a "Friday Favorites" post when I can to talk about what I'm using, the latest gadget I have, and things that just make my life easier.
Today I'll be sharing about two items.
THE FIRST FRIDAY FAVORITE IS REVLON'S COLORSTAY GEL ENVY.
I'm terrible at painting my nails. And I hate when my nail polish starts chipping. But even more, I hate spending money on a manicure that starts chipping! I fell in love with the gel nails a few years ago, but I can rarely afford to pay $30-$40 for a gel manicure. A few months ago I saw an advertisement for Revlon's Gel Envy. Nail polish that stayed on, but didn't require a UV light and was less than $10 per bottle - that's a product I can get behind. At first I wasn't sure how long it would stay on, but after using it for several months, I've figured out that the average paint job lasts about seven days! I think that's well worth $7-$8 per bottle! Right now my favorite color is 'Ace of Spades' but I also like 'High Stakes' and 'Double Down'.

THE SECOND FRIDAY FAVORITE IS MY THIRTY-ONE CROSS TOWN WALLET.
I had a Hobo wallet for years...literally since my freshman year of college. While sometimes I miss the 1,738 pockets and zippers that the Hobo wallet offers, I've traded it out for this beauty because of all of the ways I can use it!
As you can see in the picture, this wallet turns into a wristlet. But, instead of always having the wristlet strap sticking out like that, there's a way to make it disappear!
Vwahlah! Isn't that so cool?
The other thing that this bad boy does is become a cross body purse - and that is what sold me on it! I hate carrying my purse that weighs about 20 lbs. all over. But I also hate carrying a wristlet or wallet at a concert, play, or in church - some place that I really only need my driver's license, credit card, and phone. So this wallet actually becomes a cross body, so you don't have to worry about holding on to something the whole time AND it's not heavy! Also, it's the perfect size for my iPhone 6...but I'm not sure if it would fit an iPhone 6 Plus.

Last, but certainly not least, I want to send a very very HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY to my sister, Carlee! If you don't know Carlee, you should - your life would be better for it! She has such an incredible spirit about her, she's kind, giving, sweet, and absolutely hilarious! It's been the most amazing joy to be her older sister and watch her grow into the beautiful and talented woman she is! Happy Birthday Carlee -- you're my most favorite this Friday!
