Well, it's been an eventful month to say the least.
We began the month with lots of snow, lots of parties at our house, a stomach bug, and then more snow.
We'll finish off the month by flying north, which obviously means there's a possibility of more snow.
This month we've also announced our adoption on social media, posted the adoption blog, and had our home visit for our home study. We're making progress, little by little.
We've (I've) bought two new coffee tables and sold two coffee tables. That wasn't very fun. But I love what we ended up with!
We watched the Opening Ceremonies of the 22nd Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Well, we watched via a TV in Soho, Homewood, Alabama, but either way, we stayed out way later than we have in a really long time. Totally worth it for the time we spent with good friends though!
Tomorrow we'll be celebrating our 4th Valentine's Day together.
We got to see a sneak preview of God's Not Dead, which I definitely recommend. More info on that here.
I'm beginning a new adventure in hopes to help raise money for our adoption. But more on that later...
I got a new cubical at work. Like, brand new. As in, I'm the only person who's ever sat here before.
We've booked two weddings for April - which is super exciting.
We've launched a new website for A Morales Production, which you can view right here.
Did I mention there's been a lot of snow?
I've enjoyed every bit of this month, except for the stomach bug. It's flown by, and I can't believe that tomorrow marks the halfway point for this month. I've been learning to stop and enjoy things though. I've had to remind myself not to just get into "busy mode" and to take time for friends, laughter, and enjoying moments. I look forward to another 15 days of craziness, and time with friends and family along the way. This month has been a whirlwind, and it's only halfway gone, but I wouldn't trade any of what we've done for the world.
How has your month been?
What are you looking forward to in part two of February?
