Our bags are packed, the car is loaded, we're ready to hit the road. But before we "disconnect" for a few days while we spend time with friends and family, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

This year has been one of the most educational years that we've had. We added a family member (Swanson) and learned how to keep something or someone else alive other than ourselves. That was a pretty big adjustment for us, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

We are also waiting to add another family member, and we are continuously praying for him each and every day. We know it might be several more years until we get to meet him and bring him home, but each year that goes by we hope that we'll spend the next Christmas together.

Jason and I also began new jobs this year, which has been a wonderful learning experience for us both. We love our jobs and couldn't imagine a better career path for our family and we've truly been blessed in ways that are just unimaginable!

Thank you for all of your prayers this year. We've needed them and felt them. The Lord is growing us each day, and although it's sometimes painful, we are so thankful that He loves us enough to grow our faith!
